Kew Gardens
To follow on from the conclusion of the ‘Year of the Tree’ festival at Kew Gardens, the Children’s Christmas Grotto brief was to create an “enchanted grotto set within the roots of a tree”.
Working closely with Kew, we produced and executed a design which focused heavily on natural elements such as contorted willow trees, carved wood benches, twisting roots and interestingly shaped logs. Combined with this; artificial glittering snowflakes, silver birch trees, white glowing p-lights and individual shimmering jewels added a frosty, wintry element.
Rhodes W1
Launched in 2005 Rhodes W1 showcases the celebrity chef Gary Rhodes. The interior décor is centred on trendy, chic and elegant design; which in our design for their 2008 Christmas decorations we aimed to enhanced rather than detract from. Ornate white filigree baubles, diamond snowflakes and jewel drops were individually suspended around the walls; in-between existing stunning glass wall features.
Large window displays were seen from the exterior; softly shimmering with white light, enticing guests inside. A series of white glittered sprayed silver birch trees entwined with white lights, and dressed at the base with glistening snowflakes was the focal feature of the styling.
For continuity, we were also asked to design the install for their main Christmas function room. We echoed the stylish, crisp design from the bar – using lighting to enhance the wintry atmosphere created.
“I am very happy with how the room looks. My clients keep on commenting how impressed they are. So we have achieved what we were aiming for. I strongly believe that with all written feedbacks from the clients I will have no problem at all to get the funds for decorations next year. And of course, I will be using your services!!!”

Egyptian GOLD
Using a combination of authentic statues, artefacts, and sumptuous fabric dressing, we created an Egyptian GOLD event design fit for a Pharaoh. Black and gold Egyptian figures were positioned around the walls of the main space; interspersed with Souk-style sets filled with terracotta posts, baskets and trinkets. The ‘pièce de résistance’ was the giant Tutankhamun mask positioned at centre stage…sparkling with gold and blue glittering hues.
A tented ceiling area formed the ‘Palace Retreat’. Orange, claret, old gold and bronze silk effect fabric adorned the walls, hung in altering widths to create a fabulous plethora of colour. A selection of authentic furniture, including floor lamps, banquet seating and silk throws filled the area to create the perfect haven for guests to relax after dinner.
