About us
GDC are a London based, event design company consisting of a close-knit team of design experts. With over 25 years of industry experience and driven by passion, we transform environments through creative design.
What the service entails
We create truly bespoke, creative designs for any type of event, from private weddings, product launches and corporate functions through to large-scale sporting hospitality events, exhibitions and trade shows all over London, the UK and Europe. From initial consultation through to onsite build; GDC events deliver with innovation.
Covering styling, floristry and conceptual installations as well as large scale bespoke build, our design capabilities are limitless. We work with caterers to produce bespoke and interactive food stations, restaurant refurbishments and fit out. We visually enhance sporting hospitality programmes, including styling to temporary structures, bespoke bar and set build, entrance features, sculptural and floral installations and branded photo opportunities. We offer venue dressing and seasonal event styling for summer and Christmas events.
Utilising our skills and knowledge in experiential design, we bring an event to life, showcasing brands and helping brands to connect with their audience and evolve. GDC bring authenticity, passion and commitment to every project, no matter how big or small.
Our process
We can creatively respond to a client’s vision or come up with bespoke ideas from scratch. Using trend spotting and setting; seeking inspiration from every field within the creative industries, we keep our ideas relevant, engaging and unique to each client.
Our standard process starts with a conversation so we can fully understand our client’s vision and requirements. From this initial consultation, our inhouse team of dedicated event designers will create a mood board of ideas to be presented and discussed, before finally producing a fully costed proposal, complete with visuals and renders subject to the scale of the job. We then oversee technical construction across our workshops, collaborating with a wider team of carpenters, metal workers, stylists and artists to ensure a high-end finish and exceptional attention to detail.
The process culminates in onsite installation, fully managed by the GDC team alongside a dedicated family of artists, dressers, drapers, florists and carpenters that we have worked with for over 25 years, ensuring a professional but personal experience. This end to end service ensures a truly unique environment for each client.

Other services
Our bespoke event design service is a tailor-made solution for the individual client. Each design element will be unique to that event and will encompass a range of services and skills depending on the design. We have a wealth of experience in all manner of applications and fabrications and apply this mixed medium approach to every job. We have curated a family of freelance specialists and so are proficient in everything from sculptural works to scenic painting, embroidery to metalworks and so much more. We strive to create truly innovative designs from our wealth of fresh ideas, substantiated by our long-standing credentials.
