Charity Gala; Save the Children

GDC had the pleasure of collaborating with Artistic Director Richard Olivieri, to create yet another stunning Save the Children fundraising event; Centenary Gala. The history, reach and roots of the foundaton were represented through Art Nouveau/ Art Deco design, honouring a century of achievement and Save the Children’s founder herself – Eglantyne Jebb, who pioneered the revolutionary Declaration of the Rights of the Child, and started Save the Children in 1919.

As a back bar feature; lights pushed through a map print, with red pins and thread to indicate the countries and current projects, visualising Save the Children’s reach abroad.
A selection of pertinent images from Save the Children archives, creating a time line of events from the start of the charity to present day.
Arrangements of pink, Eglantyne Jebb roses, a variety of rose named after the founder herself.
