About us
GDC are a London based, event design company with over 25 years of industry experience. Covering styling, floristry and conceptual installations as well as large scale bespoke build, we transform environments through creative design.
What the service entails
Working closely with venues we visually enhance sporting hospitality programmes. We style and fit out temporary structures, from choosing carpet and wall colours, creating bespoke bar and interactive food stations to providing aesthetic solutions such as stylish seating units and clever room dividers. We create impactful entrance features, striking sculptural and floral installations and instagram worthy photo opportunities. We have experience in semi permanent refurbishments of restuarents hosting high profile, Michelin star chefs, and can also offer seasonal venue dressing throughout the year. Utilising our skills and knowledge in experiential design, we bring an event to life, showcasing brands and helping brands connect with their audience. From initial consultation through to onsite build; GDC events deliver with innovation.
Our process
Our close knit team of design experts ensures a dedicated and personalised experience. We encourage regular phone consultations and face to face meetings to ensure expectations are met. We create mood boards to communicate intial concepts before producing fully costed proposals complete with visuals and renders. We understand the ever changing nature of producing large scale events and so are very comfortable working alongside other contracters, supporting multiple timelines to meet final deadlines. We oversee technical construction both across our workshops and onsite, collaborating with a wider team of carpenters, metal workers, fabricators and artists. We are comfortable and familiar with working on extended 6 week builds but can also deliver incredibly tight turnarounds. We have installed across stadiums, racecourses and convention centres, and are competent at managing large teams working simultaneously across big sites. We have carefully curated a family of freelancers each specialising in specific industry skills such as welding, floristry and scenic painting, thus ensuring an exceptional, high end finish.
We can creatively respond to a client’s vision or come up with bespoke ideas from scratch. Seeking inspiration from every field within the creative industries, we keep our ideas on-brand, innovative and unique to each client.
Our clients and experience
GDC have worked with Ascot Racecourse, Arsenal Football Club, NFL at both Wembley and Twickenham stadium and All Blacks for Rugby World Cup. The bespoke nature of our approach means we can easily adapt to all venues and clients, modifying our product to embody each brand. Our end to end service ensures a truly tailor made experience for each client, full of passion and commitment, no matter how big or small the project.
